About ASCI

Robin Rich, ASCI’s Owner/Operator, has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology and a Master’s of Science in Business Administration and Management from Georgia Southern University.  Robin’s career started with Great Dane Trailers and Brooks Instrument up until 1996 when he made the decision to form his own company, Automation Systems & Controls, Inc.  This decision allowed Robin to perform his engineering specialties without the extreme overhead costs within a large business.  His in-depth vision and dedication have supplied ASCI with a foundation of loyalty, enhanced with service-driven performance thus allowing ASCI to grow into a turn-key design and engineering service provider.

Robin continues to support our younger generation through countless committees associated with Georgia Southern University.  He was selected as the 2015 Alumnus of the Year by the Georgia Southern University College of Engineering and Information Technology.  He believes that if you give a graduate their first opportunity, that they will appreciate that person to the fullest.
